Hola, I’m Rafi. I’m a freelancer web developer and web designer from Afghanistan.

I’ve been designing and developing websites and web application for over 5 years and currently live in a beautiful city of Afghanistan called Herat with my wife and three kids (Shais, Abeer and Sohaib).

I believe in integrity, perseverance, and building lasting relationships.

Currently working as a team leader at PomTech ICT solutions

My Kids

“I have learned that raising children is the single most difficult thing in the world to do. It takes hard work, love, luck, and a lot of energy, and it is the most rewarding experience that you can ever have.”
– Janet Reno

My PomTech Teammates

“The kind of people that all teams need are people who are humble, hungry, and smart: humble being little ego, focusing more on their teammates than on themselves. Hungry, meaning they have a strong work ethic, are determined to get things done, and contribute any way they can. Smart, meaning not intellectually smart but inner personally smart.”
– Patrick Lencioni

My Father & Brothers

“Brothers don’t necessarily have to say anything to each other – they can sit in a room and be together and just be completely comfortable with each other.”
– Leonardo DiCaprio

Brothers not by BLOOD but by HEART

They are not my brothers, not by blood, we are brothers of heart, someone says “Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what.”

My Students

“Once you allow yourself to identify with the people in a story, then you might begin to see yourself in that story even if on the surface it’s far removed from your situation. This is what I try to tell my students: this is one great thing that literature can”
– Chinua Achebe

My ILD Friends

The greatest gift of life is friendship, and I have received it, being with a group of young leaders, friends and experts gives you so much energy.
